Natalie Seiz is Assistant Curator of Asian Art at the Art Gallery of New South Wales, and received her PhD from the University of Sydney in the Department of Art History and Theory. Her research deals with emergence of contemporary women artists in Taiwan and China, particularly during the late 1970s - 2000s. She has curated exhibition displays for the Asian collection, primarily working with contemporary Asian art. Natalie has presented at conferences and seminars internationally, including at the Association of Art Historians UK, and the London School of Economics Asia Research Centre. She has published reviews and articles and was guest editor of the TAASA Review Contemporary East Asia issue. She has a chapter being published in Asia Through Art and Anthropology: Cultural Translation Across Borders (forthcoming Berg publishers October 2013).
